Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), Android 6.0.1, cablu original, Ultima versiune de AA. Nu imi recunoaste telefonul.

Am incercat:

- activat developer mode
- USB debugging checked
- USB configuration: MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)
- USB tethering checked

Work around accord 2016
I had a tough time getting Android Auto working with my Honda accord 2016. All other phones worked fine except the op3.

Finally was able to get it to work. Here is what i did:

1. Enable developers options
2. Connect the phone to the car while the car is on
3. Go to developers options and under "select USB configuration" pick "MIDI"

Then Android Auto connects to the car.

You have two branch of development, first generation (models before 2017) and second generation (2017).
First generation is 830, 840, 850 firmware and second generation is 1840 update. The thing is that you can install second generation firmware on the first. Even if reseller doesn't advise to do that.
