Answer:
The Suzuki infotainment system will first require exporting device information to an SD card to determine available updates. The map update process will require an SD card from 8GB to 32GB in size.
To export device information:
Insert a blank SD card into the device
Touch Settings
Touch System
Touch About
Touch Update
This will initiate the data export from the device onto the SD card
Device information will now be exported to the SD card.
Prior to updating the maps, a software update is required.
To update software:
Insert the SD card into the computer
Go to
https://www.garmin.com/suzuki/ Click Go under Updates & Add-Ons
Click Scan SD card
Select the device once recognized
Click Updates & Accessories
Click Software Updates
Follow onscreen instructions
After inserting the SD card into the navigation system, allow five to ten minutes for the device to start updating the software.
To purchase and download the map update:
Go to
www.garmin.com/Suzuki Click Go under Updates & Add-Ons
Click Scan SD card
Select the device once recognized
Click Updates & Accessories
Click Latest Map
Click Add To Cart
Follow onscreen instructions to purchase and download the map update
A Map Update Overview will be displayed with complete instructions. The instructions can be printed if needed.
The maps will now be updated.
