Did you know your portable Navigation system can be used as a head up display projector?

the issues of using it raw, just throwing it under the wind shield is that:
- you see the indications reverse - for this, different software may be bought to reverse the image
- you probbably will not see anything during the day because the daylight
coming back to the subject I am striving to make a simple HUD show me the speed only. the problem I face is that I cannot find a valid speed signal in my SX4, and I believe all Suzukis are poor in this manner.
I used the AVC(automatic volume control) speed signal - purple -from the back of the head-unit, but it seems it is not working
my HUD came with a grey transparent sticker that will assure the visibility of the projected numbers during the daylight also.
any ideas to help me solve the speed signal are welcome.
